Hymn tune
MERRIAL
MERRIAL is a hymn tune in 6.5.6.5, composed by Joseph Barnby (1838–1896) (1868). In a hymnal the tune has a name of its own, printed in capitals, because the same music carries many texts: any hymn written in its meter can be sung to it.
In this library it is the tune for 1 hymn, listed below, and 3 more texts in the same meter can be sung to it.
