Here are 1,626hymns from the great tradition of the Church — the words believers have sung for centuries, set plainly so they are easy to read and easy to sing: in your bulletin, on the screen on a Sunday morning, in a children's class or at a bedside.

Every hymn here comes from a hymnal published before 1931 and is free to use, print, perform and record. We cite the source for each one.

8 of them are fully chord-charted for guitar and piano, and any chart can be transposed to the key that suits your voice or your congregation — with capo suggestions for volunteers who play in the open shapes they already know. The rest are set as clean lyric sheets while their chords are prepared; if a hymn you need is still lyrics-only, ask us to chart it next.
