LOVING-KINDNESS

LOVING-KINDNESS is a hymn tune in Long Meter (8.8.8.8) with refrain, composed by William Caldwell (1801–1857) (1831). In a hymnal the tune has a name of its own, printed in capitals, because the same music carries many texts: any hymn written in its meter can be sung to it.

In this library it is the tune for 1 hymn, listed below, and 4 more texts in the same meter can be sung to it.
