JEWETT

JEWETT is a hymn tune in 6.6.6.6 D, composed by Carl Maria Friedrich Ernst von Weber (1786–1826) (1821). In a hymnal the tune has a name of its own, printed in capitals, because the same music carries many texts: any hymn written in its meter can be sung to it.

In this library it is the tune for 1 hymn, listed below, and 2 more texts in the same meter can be sung to it.
