Joyfully, joyfully, onward we move,

Bound to the land of bright spirits its above;

Jesus, our Saviour, in mercy says, Come,

Joyfully, joyfully haste to your home.

Soon will our pilgrimage end here below,

Soon to the presence of God we shall go,

Then, if to Jesus our hearts have been given,

Death with its arrows may soon lay us low,
